The Initiation of the Molecular Ballet
In collaboration with the art group ^O^, in 2017 we are kicking off The Molecular Ballet - a project which intends to use music, performance and cinema to explore contemporary themes of design, technology and mind expansion.
If the events of 2016 have made anything clear, it must be the notion that we have entered territory - economically, politically, artistically and existentially - that we really don’t have the language to deal with. The bandwidth of our present thinking and dialogue is simply unable to reflect the complex dynamics of our evolving world.
At Elementa we are convinced that what is called for, is the engagement of our deepest faculties of imagination, to increase the bandwidth of our interactions with the world. We also believe that whatever your calling in is - and how you spend your days - nobody can afford not to expand their consciousness exactly where they are, in the present moment.
The Molecular Ballet springs out from the «^O^ archive», an experimental symbol language initiated in 2010, the inner workings of which followers of Elementa will have the chance to explore in the 4 next years.
It is getting pretty clear that we not going to be able to «fix the world» with technology. The universe is such a fine tuned, wonderfully complex system - where human agency may play a distinct role. Built into the system are infinite possibilities for renewing our heartfelt connection to each other and to nature.
To tap into those forces of deep renewal, we must take an active interest in the human condition and set out to re-imagine how we relate to time, work, nature and existence. The workings of the subjective, imaginative realms may appear alien when first engaged without the filters of the habitual, but the subjective mind is really the only instrument we have to play. The time and place will never just right, so lets just get to it
