At Elementa we are constantly researching new options for building more sustainable and beautiful furniture.
For project deliveres, the Elementa range of workspace furniture can be produced on demand in just about any board material. This includes traditional furniture materials such as sustainably sourced solid wood, linoleum and Valchromat and an almost infinite array of different laminates.
We also offer an extensive selection of radically sustainable and circular materials. This spans from recycled glass table tops, to surfaces made from recycled textile and even 100% recycled plastic boards.
Solid recycled textile board
Solid board for 70% post consumer recycled textile, 30% bicomponent binder.
Applicable for tabletops and cabinet fronts.
Recycled Plastic Table tops
Through Norwegian Trash and The Good Plastic Company we can offer 100% recyclable plastic table tops made from 100% recycled material.
The material can also be used for cabinet doors and other interior surfaces indoor and outdoors.
The colours below are standards. Special surfaces and colours is possible, and even new compositions based on available plastic waste.
Valchromat
Valchromat is a wood fibre panel coloured throughout, where fibres are coloured individually, impregnated with organic dyes and bonded together by a special resin which gives Valchromat unique physic and mechanical features. It is made with wood waste at a plant with zero carbon emission and have outstanding environmental credentials.
Valchromat is 30% stronger than regular MDF board providing for stronger furniture, where scratches and wear are less visible. It is non-toxic, emission free and is approved for contact with food.
Linoleum
Furniture Linoleum is a unique surfacing material for furniture applications such as desks, stools, cabinets, doors and displays. The material is naturally flexible and can be applied on all kinds of constructions.
This natural furniture surfacing material has a matt look and feels warm to the hand. It presents a number of new fresh and stylish colours that complement the classic greys and blacks.
Melamines & HPL
For project orders, the whole range of melamines and high pressure laminates from Egger is available. Other manufacturers of laminates may be available on request.

Veneers and Solid Wood
For projects Elementa offers a wide array of different posibilities of veneered surfaces - and even solid wood board for both cabinets and tabletops.
